What does emotional health have to do with spiritual maturity? More than we might think.
This fall, First Prez is beginning a church-wide journey through Emotionally Healthy Spirituality, an eight-session, video-based course that helps us explore how our emotions, relationships, past experiences, and everyday rhythms shape our life with God.
Even sincere followers of Jesus can find themselves spiritually stuck—especially in seasons of conflict, loss, stress, or difficult relationships. Together, we’ll discover biblical and practical ways to grow in self-awareness, experience greater freedom and healing, deepen our relationship with God, and love others more maturely.
Classes begin in September at both our Ko‘olau and Kaka‘ako campuses. Come grow with us as we learn what it means to become emotionally healthy and spiritually mature followers of Jesus.
The following three books are required for this class and are available for purchase for $30. There will be reading assignments every week.
