FPC Impact Ministry: Opportunities to Serve

  • The Pantry

THE PANTRY provides free, high-quality food to those in need on Oahu through an easy-to-use online platform. Volunteers help fulfill the orders in various ways, and guests come to The Pantry’s Kalihi warehouse to pick up their groceries on designated days. See volunteer opportunities.

  • River of Life Mission

On Mondays, pick up meals from RIVER OF LIFE MISSION on Pauahi Street, Honolulu at 4:30PM and drop them off at Na Lei Hulu Kupuna senior housing on Cooke Street by 5PM. Talk story and get to know someone new. Questions? Email: jenny@fpchawaii.org.

  • Pilina Restoration Day

Every last Saturday of the month, we have a team that works on different parts of the First Prez Ko’olau campus to nurture the land: clear away plant debris, pick up stray golf balls, girdle invasive tree species, and plant native plants. Sign up here to volunteer with us.

  • Creation Care Fridays

Every Friday morning from 8AM-10AM we work on the ornamental gardens in the FPC Ko’olau campus. Wear comfortable work clothes, closed-toe shoes, and a hat. Bring a water bottle, work gloves, and gardening tools (if you have them). Email us (aloha@fpchawaii.org) to let us know you’re coming.

  • Sunday Service Projects

Occasionally on Sunday mornings, we offer simple, family-friendly projects that kids and adults can do together to help support the work of outside ministries and nonprofits we have partnered with. See our Community News page for projects we’ve lined up (if any).
