College Connection

Our college students may be miles away, but they’re still very much part of our First Prez ʻohana! College Connection is a new initiative to help our church stay connected with about 28 FPC students who are away at college—and remind them that their church family is thinking about them and praying for them.

From Sunday, September 20 to October 4, we’ll be collecting goodies and practical items to fill care packages for each student. Think dorm-room favorites and little necessities:

  • Cup Noodles (Ramen)

  • Royal Cream Crackers

  • Pocky Sticks

  • Nut free Cookies (pre-packaged)

  • Instant Oatmeal

  • Microwave Popcorn

  • Pretels

  • Fruit Bars

  • Hot Cocoa

  • Granola Bars

  • Protein Bars

  • Immune Support/Emergen-C

  • Gum or Mints

  • Stain Remover Pens/TIDE

  • Tissues (pocket pack)

  • Lip Balm

  • Cough Drops

  • Target gift cards

  • Amazon gift cards

Please avoid chocolate, which can melt, and anything containing nuts due to allergies.

Then on Sunday, October 4, following the worship service, we’ll have a packing party to put everything together and send some First Prez aloha across the miles. Bring an item, help us pack, or do both!
