Picnic and Planetarium Show

SEPTEMBER 26, SATURDAY, 11:30 AM, WINDWARD COMMUNITY COLLEGE’S HOKULANI IMAGINARIUM

The FPC Vintage Ministry (for senior adults) invites everyone of all ages to a fun afternoon at the Hokulani Imaginarium in Kaneohe, a high-tech planetarium and multi-media facility where audiences enjoy immersive adventures in a true 360° environment. The shows are projected onto the entire dome ceiling. You sit back, look up, and get transported into the story.

We’ll start off with a picnic lunch at 11:30 AM on the lawn near the entrance (free parking across the street). Bring your own lunch, and we’ll provide the drinks.

The box office opens at 12:30, with two shows available:

• 1:00 pm – “Expedition Reef”

• 2:00 pm – “Oceans in Space”

Ticket prices (per show, cash only, paid directly at the box office of the Planetarium on Sept 26):

• General Admission: $8

• Seniors (65+) & Military: $7

• Children 4–12: $6

• Children under 4: Free (one per paying adult)

Sign up below to reserve your spot, or in person at the Next-Step Table in the Fellowship Hall. Please commit to your reservation so others don’t miss out. If you’d like to stay for both shows, simply purchase the second ticket at the box office.
