Operation Christmas Child

ONGOING UNTIL SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 23

Help make Christmas extra special for children in need by filling a shoebox with small gifts! First Prez is partnering with the Christian nonprofit Samaritan’s Purse to bring joy to kids around the world through their program called Operation Christmas Child (OCC).

Here’s how it works:

• Pick up an empty shoebox (with information) from the Next-Step Table in the Fellowship Hall.

• Decide whether the box will be for a boy or girl.

• Choose an age group, and fill it with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies. Here are some suggestions.

• Please include a $10-check (written to “Samaritan’s Purse,” and indicate “Operation Christmas Child” on the memo line). This covers shipping and other project costs.

• Bring your filled box to First Prez starting Oct 26 (during FPC TRAIL OF TREATS), but no later than November 23.

We’ll deliver them in November to an OCC drop-off center, and from there, the boxes will travel to children across the globe—bringing joy, hope, and the message of Jesus’ love.
