UPCOMING EVENTS
Mission

The theme of the final week of our 40-Day fast is Christian “Mission." Loving God without compromise is what we called our Worship. Loving other Christians without compromise is what we called our Fellowship. Loving the lost of the world without compromise is our Mission. Our mission is really an extension of Jesus' mission. He came to bring eternal and abundant life to the "lost and the dying," and His final words to His disciples instructed them to spread the good news of God's love and forgiveness “throughout the ends of the earth." Jesus died to accomplish His mission, and we are called to throw all our resources and energies into accomplishing ours. It is a matter of life and death. It is a matter of God's heart for His suffering children. “The harvest is ripe," said Jesus. “Ask the Lord of the harvest to send forth workers."

“GIVE ALOHA" Recap
Thank you for supporting First Prez through Foodland's “Give Aloha" community matching gifts program. First Prez was the group that received the most donations. Customer donations plus Foodland's matching gift gave us a total of over $96,000! Praise the Lord who generously supplies what we need!

Chancel Flowers
Today's chancel flower arrangement was given in loving memory of Lew Freitas.

Our Condolences
Our heartfelt prayers go out to Roslyn, Beebe, John, Aidi and the Freitas family at the recent passing of Lew Freitas. Our prayers are with Angela Mathieu and family at the passing of her mother, Enid Eaglestone. We also express our deep sympathy to Joseph Morales at the passing of his stepfather, Sgt. Maj. James Blankenbecler who died in the war in Iraq last week. He is the highest-ranking enlisted solder to be killed in hostile fire in the war. Our thoughts and prayers are with these families during this difficult time.
