The
Choir is a dedicated group of approximately 55 singers
of all ages. They provide musical leadership
during Sunday morning worship, as well as special services
such as Christmas Eve, Holy Week, and Easter. The
repertoire varies from traditional to contemporary,
from Mozart to Gospel.
The
choir balances a musical focus with a spiritual and
social focus as well. Other social events provide fellowship
in this exciting, talented group. WE WELCOME SINGERS
OF ALL AGES! You do not need any previous choral experience
or know how to read music to become a member.
Participation
includes the following:
•
Rehearsals on Thursday Nights
September through June, 7:00-8:30 pm. Rehearsals are
directed by Mary Chesnut Hicks and accompanied by Beebe
Freitas.
• Sunday Morning Services
Meet at 9:00 for 9:30 service. Choir leaves halfway
through the 11:00 am service.
• Come
As You Are
We are changing our dress code! Please come dressed in whatever worshipful
clothes you are comfortable (no jeans please!). We will continue to color-coordinate
for special services and events!
