Shuttle Van Schedule

SHUTTLE SCHEDULE ADJUSTMENT. Effective 8/12/07, the Kahala pick-up site has changed from the Kahala Community Park to the YMCA at 4835 Kilauea Ave.

Summary of pick-up times in effect:

Shuttle Van Transportation
There will be shuttle van/bus transportation to/from all three services on Sunday mornings. One FPC van will make stops at Hawaii Kai Retirement Community and Kaimuki-Waialae YMCA (2nd service pick-up only). Another FPC van will make stops at Ala Moana Beach Park and the Pacific Club downtown (all three services). A contract bus will leave from Roosevelt High School (all three services). Parking arrangements have been made with Hawaii Kai Retirement Community (“Phase 1” parking lot), the Pacific Club (1451 Queen Emma St.), and Roosevelt High School (1120 Nehoa St.). There is usually ample parking at Ala Moana Beach Park at the first parking area on the right (about 50 yards into the park) upon entering via Atkinson Dr. There is also ample on-street parking on Kilauea Ave. by the YMCA.

Please be aware that:

The shuttles must adhere to a fixed schedule.
All shuttle schedules are timed for arrival at FPC Ko'olau about 10 minutes prior to service.
Return shuttles won’t leave FPC Ko'olau until people for the next service arrive. This will allow for brief fellowship (coffee, short business items, etc.) following service.
The Contract Bus at RHS carries 25 passengers and the two FPC Vans carry 14 passengers each.
Pick up points are Roosevelt High School at the bus stop at 1120 Nehoa St.; Hawaii Kai Retirement Community at the Phase 1 parking lot at 7192 Kalanianaole Hwy.; Kaimuki-Waialae YMCA at 4835 Kilauea Ave. mauka of Macy’s; Ala Moana Beach Park at the Atkinson Dr. entrance; and the Pacific Club parking lot at 1451 Queen Emma St.
