Tell us about your family (siblings, pets, kids, etc.) 

 

I have two amazing kids, Mitchell and Grant (I know, it sounds like a law firm). My older sister Anita Rhee is here at FPC with my brother-in-law Tom Stirling. Dorothy, our middle sister, lives in Northern Virginia. My parents are retired snowbirds who live in Seoul, S. Korea for half the year. We have one four-legged daughter we adopted from the Humane Society. I’ve been married to my solid rock, Carl (aka Yogi) for 24 years.

 

What is your favorite comfort food?

Korean comfort food, like spicy rice-cake (Duk-bokkee), tofu or soy-bean stew

 

What is one of your pet peeves? 

Sassy kids and drama queens

 

What’s the last book you read? 

Understanding Christian Mission by Scott Sunquist

 

What is your favorite movie?

The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Matrix, Second Hand Lions, Billy Elliott

 

If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be? 

Be in multiple places at once

 

Which Hollywood film actor would play you in a movie of your life?

Um, there are not many Asian female actresses. I’ll go with Mulan.
