What can I expect when I visit?
Our attendees dress in a variety of styles. So whether you are dressed casually or in your "Sunday best," you will not feel out of place. When you arrive for service, you may park in any available space in our parking lot, or on the median strip with the grass blocks (if it’s open). Please be mindful of spaces reserved for those with special needs.
After the service, head over to our fellowship hall in the Fellowship Hall and enjoy a free latte while enjoying the incredible view of the Pali and the ocean. There is also a Ko’olau Kitchen where you can purchase lunch for a modest price.
Whether you are a lifelong church-goer or this is your first time in a church, you will find a warm welcome at First Prez. Our hope is that you will take the next step and become a part of our community.
When are your worship services and what are they like?
What do you have for my family?
If you’re a Middle School or High School student, First Prez is the place to be! Both Middle High and Senior High School students have a dynamic program which begins at 9:45 on Sunday mornings. It is filled with amazing skits, super-fun worship and best of all connection time in small groups encountering God. We also have mid week programs for both the Mid Hi and Senior Hi students. We hope that you will join us this Sunday to discover how you can be a part of this fun-filled, meaningful experience. See you soon!?
What does First Prez believe?
We are members of the Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians (ECO) and as such we are an expression of Reformed Christianity, a part of the (universal) holy catholic church celebrated in the Apostles’ Creed, a people whose roots go back to John Calvin at the time of the Reformation.
First Presbyterian Church has approximately 1,300 members, a Session (Board of Elders) consisting of 23 lay men and women Elders, three associate pastors, and the senior pastor, who serves as moderator. The Session is responsible for the whole life of the church. The Elders are elected for three-year terms. The Board of Deacons, charged with nurturing the congregation and ministering to those in need, consists of 33 Deacons elected for three-year terms. We are a family; and we’d like to be your family. Please join us.
