compassion experience

Compassion and First Prez have made the decision to give the Compassion Experience another go this coming weekend, August 31 - September 3 (Labor Day). That means we’re looking for people to help us set it up on Thursday, August 30 from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm and take it down on Monday, September 3 from 3:30 - 6:30 pm. So, who’s in? Please let me know as soon as you can tim@fpchawaii.org

The Compassion Experience is an immersive exhibit where you can walk through more than 2,000 square feet of replicas of the environment of a child in need in a developing country. Experience other cultures, the realities of global poverty, and how you can change the life of a child living half a world away without leaving the country.

The Compassion Experience is free and family-friendly. The exhibit will be set up on the First Prez parking lot in August. It will be a FREE 20-minute, self-guided tour, and you can sign up for it online here.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR THE EVENT:

HELP AS A HOST:

As a volunteer of The Compassion Experience, you will be the first face of Compassion as guests walk through the interactive exhibit. You might serve as a greeter, set up iPods for guests, assist them with questions and offer guidance in the World Impact room. To explore this volunteer possibility, click here.
